What is the Conservation Alliance and why are we partnering with them? Visit idhikethat.com to learn more about this awesome organization and why we have chosen to join them in their cause.

We are very excited to announce we are partnering with The Conservation Alliance.

This incredible group is located in Bend, Oregon. They do a lot of great things for the outdoors.

Since the Alliance was birthed in 1989, their funding has helped save more than 51 million acres of wildlands, protect 3,102 miles of rivers, stop or remove 30 dams, designate five marine reserves, and purchase 13 climbing areas.

The Alliance is committed to protecting and restoring America’s wild places.  Their mission is to “engage businesses to fund and partner with organizations to protect wild places for their habitat and recreation values.”

So what exactly is The Conservation Alliance?

The Alliance is comprised of a group of like-minded companies, including REI, Patagonia, The North Face, and Kelty, that donate its collective annual membership dues to grassroots environment organizations.  The Alliance then disperses that funding to community-based campaigns with the shared goal of protecting threatened wild habitat and outdoor recreation.

Today, the Alliance has over 220 companies involved in the conservations efforts.  And just this summer, they funded 22 projects, totaling $879,000.

We are excited to give our customers the opportunity to improve the outdoors by having the option to donate a very small portion of their purchase to The Conservation Alliance.

Will you consider joining us in supporting this great group?

We would be honored, and know you would feel so good about being a part of improving America's wildlands through your donation.
